FOOD PANTRY

HUNGER STOPS HERE

PACS provides groceries to over 5,600 low-income and homeless individuals each month, helping them meet their food needs.

The food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. You can visit once per month.

When you arrive, a box of groceries containing a 3-5 day supply of fruits, vegetables, grains, meats, and dairy will be placed directly in your vehicle. Please be patient while volunteers work to serve everyone in the car line.

PACS welcomes everyone and follows the USDA’s Nondiscrimination Policy.

For questions or to partner with PACS, you can contact our Associate Director Tim Zollbrecht at Tim.Zollbrecht@pacsonline.org or 503-252-8500 x1111.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  1. The food pantry serves clients from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If you arrive by 11:00 a.m., you will receive food that day.

  2. When you arrive, you will get in line, either in a drive-up lane or at the walk-up table.

  3. An intake coordinator will ask for your name, birthdate, zip code, and household size. This information is shared only with the Oregon Food Bank to help track the number of people served.

  4. Please be prepared for a potential wait due to the number of clients and our reliance on volunteers. The food pantry is accessible by car, with plenty of parking, or by Trimet bus lines 77 and 23. We are also a one-mile walk from the Gateway Transit Center.
