DONATION POLICY

Before you come, please make sure that the items you are donating are things we can accept.

 

If you have any questions, please give us a call before bringing your items at 503-252-8500.

The Donation Supervisor has the right to refuse donations after inspection.

 

Thank you for your understanding.

WE ACCEPT...

Clothing and Linens

Washed with no tears, stains, or mildew. No strong odors from cigarettes, pets, or mothballs.

Shoes

Gently used with no holes, tears, or missing soles/heels. No strong odors.

Upholstered Furniture and Rugs

No significant tears or stains. No mildew or strong odors from cigarettes, pets, or mothballs. 

Other Miscellaneous Items

Toys, tools, musical instruments (no pianos or organs), knick-knacks, books, magazines, artwork, dishes, pots and pans, antiques, jewelry, arts and crafts, just to name a few. 

Electronics

Still in good working condition with no missing knobs or buttons. Minor dents or scratches are acceptable. 

Small Appliances

Any non-built-in appliances like microwaves, toaster over, etc. Still in good working condition, no missing knobs or buttons. Minor dents or scratches are acceptable. 

Wood and Solid Furniture

Not broken, badly dented, or water damaged. Not missing any vital parts. Minor dents or scratches are acceptable. 

WE REJECT...

  • Anything that is wet or water damaged

  • Baby Cribs

  • Child car seats

  • Combustible fuel in any containers

  • Large Appliances like refrigerators, stoves, washer/dryer, BBQ, gas appliances

  • Large desks

  • Mattresses and box springs

  • Slate-top pool tables

  • Old style box televisions or computer monitors

  • Entertainment centers

  • Fluorescent tube lightbulbs

  • Printers

  • Paint

  • Commercial medical equipment and supplies

  • CPAP machines

  • Feeding tubes

We retain the right to refuse any items for any reason. You can help us reduce our expenses by allowing us to decline those items that we cannot sell in our stores. Thank you for understanding.
