Pastor Kevin Wilson serves as youth and young adult pastor at Sunnyside Seventh-Day Adventist Church and is known online as "Chaplain Chai" to nearly half a million followers worldwide. Through digital storytelling centered on chai, he explores justice, meaningful living, and faith — work that's been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, and Bon Appétit. He's also co-founder of two social enterprises supporting Sri Lankan tea workers, Cross Culture Chai and Cross Culture Tours, and author of The Way of Chai: Recipes for a Meaningful Life. As an international speaker, Kevin has carried this message — and his "Third-Culture Kid" perspective, shaped by growing up across multiple countries — to audiences around the globe. Kevin is currently based in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Elynn, and two children.
