PACS Mobile Food Pantry
PACS Mobile Food Pantry travels to eight neighborhoods, churches and community centers every month. Our Mobile Pantry travels out as far as Estacada, Oregon and as close in as Northwest Portland. Each site is supported by a partnership with a church or community organization who provides onsite volunteers. The Mobile Food Pantry reduces the transportation burden for families living outside the communities we serve. Like our main food pantry, the mobile program provides 3-5 days of groceries for families using a grocery store model. The Mobile Food Pantry feeds nearly 500 adults and children each month.
Currently, the schedule of the Mobile Food Pantry includes monthly visits to the communities of Rockwood, Lents, North Portland, Northwest Portland, Gresham Station, Estacada, and Boring. We can only serve 30-40 clients per day because of the size of the mobile trailer. Clients are encouraged to sign up in advance of the day to ensure a spot and you will be asked for evidence that you live in Oregon. This could be showing a photo ID, a utility bill or piece of mail showing your name and address. You will also be asked about your income and the number of people in your household. For more information and locations of the Mobile Food Pantry stops please call us at 503-252-8500 or see PACS Mobile Food Pantry location flyer.
Our mobile food pantry follows the US Department of Agriculture’s Nondiscrimination Policy (PDF Document Link). We are not a government agency and we do not ask about your immigration status. PACS welcomes everyone.
